Weight Loss Diets Simplified – Lose 10 Pounds Fast
When thinking about the changes we’d like to make in our lives, we usually have a picture of what that change looks like. We may visualise great trips away, having a large family home, a luxury car and perhaps a well respected position. Most of us see changes to our appearance; a trimmer physique and a transformed wardrobe.
Honing in on the new things we want to have is a good starting base when thinking of which goals we want to reach. Achieving successful goals isn’t going to happen if we don’t see them in our minds eye first.
However, we have to be prepared to make some changes, prior to having all these brilliant things. We must be prepared to alter the things we do if we want to alter the things we have. Said another way – we’ll always have what we’ve always had if we’re not prepared to change the things we do.
For big leaps forward in what we have, we need to make huge changes not only to the way we do things, but also (more importantly) to the way we think. Knowing that there’s going to be a deal of exertion to do to get the things we want to have isn’t a great revelation. The relationship between giving and getting is well understood! But doing the work alone won’t necessarily bring the results we want.
Success is achieved by behaving and thinking like an achiever; by adopting the beliefs and attitudes of a successful person before we’ve got there in reality. So the person who’s objective is a weight reduction of 35lbs in a year’s time has to change to being a conscientious dieter who each week makes exercising a priority for a pre-set amount of time.
Working out each day has to come before meeting up with friends. Success dictates that reward will follow effort. Results come all the sooner when slimming and good health are pursued with enthusiasm.
Achievement isn’t the luck of the draw! We have to build the attitude of an achiever to act as a deterrent against the hits, doubts and criticisms that may be aimed at us.
We can connect with positive achievers by watching films and reading biographies of others who’ve overcome challenges on their path to success. A familiar thread runs through each of their stories – that what they have now is largely the result of what they did and who they became before the gravy train started to roll. By focusing on becoming who we need to be, we’ll enjoy the exertions we have to do more and receive the things we want to have so much faster.
