How To Lose Your Post Pregnancy Weight Without Going To The Gym.
The one thing that Doctors and fitness gurus agree on about losing weight is that the BEST way to lose those unwanted pounds and keep them off is to eat a healthy nutritious diet and get enough exercise on a daily basis. This has been proven to work over and over because it’s safe and does not have any serious complications or side effects.
However, for most parents with young kids, finding the time to go to the gym, look for parking, walk to the locker room, change, workout, change back, walk back to the car and drive home It all takes way to much time. This is not only discouraging to the parent but even when a parent manages to discipline themselves to follow that routine, they’re still left with the immense guilt of having to leave their young children behind, sometimes with questionable babysitters.
Truthfully, getting enough exercise to help you shed those baby pounds does not need a long trip to the gym with all the hassles associated with it. You can accomplish this right in your family room while staying close to your kids(s) and not have to leave them behind to drive to the gym and get in a rushed workout. You can can have your cake and eat it too and I’m gonnna show you how.
I have a better solution for you, and I guarantee that if you do it, you will sweat your butt off.. literally and if you remain consistent, you will lose that weight without having to leave your little ones behind to run to the gym. Yes there is a way to maintainDaddy, mommy and Baby’s health and wellness without spending money, and without even leaving the house ever again just to get some exercise.
Your child is like a set of weights, and there is no reason why you can’t use him or her to help you with your weight loss endeavor especially because not only will they love it, but thoroughly enjoy the time you and him/her will spend doing these exercises. Here’s how.
With your child standing in front of you, or if they’re too young you can just lift them, tuck your elbows to your side and using your forearms, raise your child right to your face and give them a kiss on the forehead.. then lower them all the way until your arms are straightened. Repeat this 10-15 times and I guarantee you that your biceps will have had quite a workout. If you do this 3 times daily, you will be giving your arms more than enough exercise. The best part is that you will also be playing with your child and and bonding with them at the same time. ( I have pictures for demonstration if you’re interested)
Here’s another one, lie down on the floor facing up, grab your child with one hand on their chest and the other by their waist. Now, lift your child up by straightening your arms and bring them back to your chest and repeat 10-15 times or until you check muscles get tired. There goes your check press exercise and you didn’t have to leave you family room.
You can actually train your entire body by using your child as “weight” and get the same benefits as you would with a dead dumbbell except this time you actually get to spend time with your child and enhance that bond between the two of you.
So, go ahead and try it and if you want more examples on how you can spend time with your child, while using their weight to get your daily exercise and bonding with them at the same time, we do have a list of these the exercises that you can do with your child and they’re all illustrated in pictures to make it easy for you to follow. And as you do this, you will also find yourself inventing new exercises that we haven’t even thought of.
